Project Details
A remarkable refurbishment and fit-out initiative for the Imperial War Museum (IWM) in honour of the WW1 commemorations.
Internal fit-out works spanned several floors and included 7,000 sqm of specialised polished concrete flooring, along with carpet, vinyl, and polished resin finishes.
Entirely new ceilings and internal walls were constructed, in addition to updated front and back of house restrooms and staff accommodation. A café and corresponding kitchen were developed for public use, along with custom installations in various areas, including the reception desk, benching, and seating.
A striking metal panel ceiling adds a remarkable visual appeal to the atrium. This award-winning, three-dimensional geometric design creates a stunning ‘sky’ effect for the impressive WW1 and WW2 aircraft displayed below.
